Ctrl.Alt.Shift is a movement for a new generation fighting social and global injustice. Our film, HIV: THE MUSICAL is just one of five commissioned by the organisation to raise awareness of three important global issues - HIV and Stigmas, War and Peace, and Gender and Power.

The main aim of this film is to expose the ridiculous attitudes towards HIV. Shot primarily as a series of vlogs by a young playwright, James McKenzie (Martin Freeman) quickly finds that his artistic integrity is being challenged by the arrogance and ignorance of a theatre producer (Julian Barratt) determined to hijack his script and turn it into something far more salacious.
